Default Party sucks...

Ok, no I'm not whining about Party being rigged. I just moved to Party from PokerRoom and I just entered into the wrong side of varience. Lost about 3 buy-ins so far and only played 120 hands.. Not pretty so far, but I'm just going to stick through these beats until they turn around. Anyway, here's one hand that bothered me.

Just moved from another table, so no reads at all.
This is my 3rd hand.
Only thing that bothered me is my PF raise. Should've been at least $2.

You're preflop raise should be to 3 at the very least. If you're playing a NL 25 game, which I believe you are - you need to at least attempt to disallow garbage the glory of seeing your flop. And then you need to bet aggressive on the flop.

You may have been able to avoid this had you made a reasonably raise.

had the same hand happen to me the other day except I had AQ on that same flop, and I had raised 6x BB and got 4 callers... just take your lumps and lose to the 67s like I did

Yes, 1.50 or 2.00. Otherwise standard stuff.

That's more like it. Moving all-in for > 1 buy-in with two overcards with no draws. AT wouldn't surprise me either.

Be sure and put UTG on your buddy list and christmas card list, though the push isnt that horrible with what he thinks is probably 6 outs + fold equity if you have overs.

You must have had a hell of a read on that guy. If not than I can see you losing many more buy-ins. Calling all-ins with just an overpair(and not a very big one at that) is a good way to get broke. JMO

I disagree. 90% of the time that is a T. Anything better calls the flop, raises the turn, or min-raises the flop.
