if your opponents will call with any pair, any ace, KQ-KT, QJ, then pushing here lowers your prize pool equity by .01. if they'll fold crappy aces, 22-44 and KT/QJ, then it increases your equity by .005.

you can't really pass up marginal +ev opportunities here when you're going to have nothing but -ev choices the rest of the way unless you get a miracle big hand.

Q9o does really bad against the range of hands that will call you though (K9 doesn't do any better, fwiw). 54s, 75s, T9o do meaningfully better.
