Sorry for the barrage of questions but...what games does Gavin usually play on Empire? 30/60?

Thanks for the updates. Good luck Gav!

Just to echo what someone else said, it's nice to watch someone with as much skill as he has act mature and composed under pressure.

given he was down to 1/6th his stack in the blind when it started, not too shabby.

Thanks for all of the support everyone. I finished 7th and could possibly have done better. I built my starting 36k up to about 115k w/o having to show a hand or double up. The blinds were 5/10k w/ 1k ante when I lost a pot w/ A9 to TT getting about 3.5-1 on my call preflop and then I lost my last pot w/ AJ v KJ but I was a favorite to finish 9th or 8th so while I'm not happy with finishing 7th it's better than I was expected to do. Thanks again everyone

Not bad at all for what you started the final table with and what the blinds were.

Congrats. Nicely done.

I love this quote from the Pokerpages summary....

[ QUOTE ]
If you are ever curious about whom the greatest player in the world is, ask Davood Mehrmand. He'll be happy to tell you for as long as you'll listen. As Gavin Griffin is forced to leave in 7th, Davood is gracious enough to tell Gavin that only a great player like himself could make the K J of Spades flop and river a King. While Griffin's lowly A J offsuit had no chance. This guy is bizarre. He's coming to a town near you. Watching Davood is worth the price of admission. It's an understatement to say Mehrmand is confident.

you weren't playing Phil again, were you?
