Default NL tournament at Bally\'s - AC

I'm playing in a $60 NL tournament at Bally's in AC on Wednesday. Apparently they have one every Wednesday. You start with T3000 chips and the blinds start at 10-20. Increase every 15 minutes, I think.

Has anybody ever played in this tournament? If so, how is the competition.

I'm used to playing PP tournaments where the starting chips are T1000. What type of adjustments would you suggest making for such a deep starting stack? I'm thinking I can loosen up my starting hand requirements especially in late position...but how much?

Play high suited connectors up to one gap in late position. You are looking for monster flops that hide your hand.

I have not played that tourny, so I can't tell you about the competition.

Do you mean Bally's or the Sands? If Bally's be prepared for a smoke filled room.
