Default Abbreviations...I need help

Newbie question here...please be patient.
I understand most abbreviations OK but am still unsure about some, like TAG.
Can I assume T is tight, A is aggressive, L is loose, P is passive...?
And letters after a hyphen characterizes play after the flop as in P for passive and A for aggressive...?
Would appreciate anyone's assistance here.
Thanks in advance.

G, as in "G-dog", "gangsta", "g spot" and "gee i would really like some milk and cookies please"

no, not really, its just the g from aggressive. TAG=Tight-aggressive, LAG=, well, you can go from here.

peace

Since the original poster's question was answered, I've got another shorthand type question. I've seen people refer to players in terms of numbers 6/1, etc.. what do these mean? I assume it's some sort of pokertracker stat?

The G in TAG stands for Game, as in Tight Aggressive Game.

Sometimes you will see TAP- the P is for Player.
