Good point on the stop n' go by a passive player. But maybe he's just too passive to reraise? If he had stopped on the flop and check-raised the turn, or raised a bet then called a reraise, then yah, get out. If you are afraid of the stop n' go, why not fold the turn? Why call a big bet on the turn, only to fold the river? I dunno. I read the action as indicating the whole table thinking they might be good, but being afraid of losing. Maybe I've got a leak! I don't fold the turn b/c I still have outs against two pair, etc.

Personally, I think that your read is just off. Aggression #'s don't converge as fast as VPIP and PFR. You could play 1000 hands with someone and still be pretty far off from their actual AF.

That could be true.

BTW, Brad, I'm on the 1/2 6-max clearing bonuses and the games are quite good! I've found where all the bad 1/2 players went!

I am a newbie. What about his play makes this a Stop N Go?

SB closes the action on the flop (the stop) and leads out on the turn (the go).

I haven't heard much on what a stop-no-go means. I would think from the action that by betting out on the turn they improved. Is that what is typically inferred by a stop-no-go?
