10/20 short or 15/30 full?
Which is the better game?
I haven't played full ring in almost a year and only played it for a few months at low stakes (3/6 max) when I first started online. I am beating the 5/10 short (70K hands) and recently (last 13K hands) 10/20 short handed game for a little over 2 bb/100 usually 2 tabling. I think the holes in my blind defense are probably the worst. Losing .18 in BB and .07 in SB. I am thinking this would be less magnified in the full ring game, which I might switch to, while I work on plugging the leaks. I should be able to get in at least three full ring tables considering the action goes so much slower. I would think my rakeback deal would be about the same as long as I play 50% more tables of full ring. Bankroll is not an issue. Is 15/30 full too huge of a jump for someone who hasn't played more than 20K full ring hands at much lower stakes? Or are there enough fish there that I should do fine just modifying my short game as I go along? Comments? Suggestions? Hmmmm, just typing this out makes me realize that if I can get in 3 tables of full ring and keep a similar win rate my profit should be 50% better than 2 tables of short. Hmmm again but since you get in so many more hands playing short my actual profit per hour would probably be the same? Gee, I'm sure someone else has already gone through something similar. Little help, please? |
