Re: home game ethics ruling needed
If he mucks, yes. I was playing HE, 1-2 no limit and tabled T high after my river bluff was called. Opponent thought I had a flush and mucked. I raked the $200 pot in without a peep, nor did the dealer say a word. If hand is turned face up, dealer will read. In a home game, if it's card's speak, than it's everyone's responsibility to help in hand reading. But if it's call your own hand, than it's fine to take it down when your opponent doesn't see what he's got.

Re: home game ethics ruling needed
So here's the kicker: the Villain was was not just a faceless "he," but was actually a "she." This was MY WOMAN who did this too me. My very own girlfriend slowrolled me because she was still angry about an HE hand earlier where we both were all-in with KK and I drew out a flush.

Hey, I'm really a sensitive guy. Did you know Mike Tyson cries when he has sex?
Oh wait, that's because of the Mace. |

Re: home game ethics ruling needed
Here's an idea: Why don't both of you just turn over all three cards instead of that idiotic slow rolling BS. Best hand wins. End of discussion.

Re: home game ethics ruling needed
The entire thread is indicative of a personality type that is incapable of dealing with other people under any circumstance in a direct and straightforward manner.
He deserved the slowroll and he deserves all the grief that is going to flow from the relationship with the slowroller. When he starts telling the truth from the beginning and including all relevant facts, the quality of his relationships and poker opponents will rise. (I don't play at Commerce anymore because the earn rate, fat as it is, is not worth the antagonizing tactics of the idiots who give it up.) |
