Default How to custom standard chips?

I have a set of standard chips (plastic or composite something 11.5g) and I wonder if there is some smart and fairly easy way to make a lasting custom-change (stamp?) those chips to hinder chip-dumping/cheating in a tournament?

Sugestions much appreciated.

One idea I have is to drill a very shallow dimple in the center of the chip and put a spot of colour in it, but I would like to see some better idea.

Find one of the many threads on here about 1" labels and buy a set of those... not only will they make your chips look better... but you'll have the added security also.
