Re: AQs, Bad pre flop call?
Not sure what I think about the flop bet, definitely don't like the turn bet.
Nice c/r on the river. |

Re: AQs, Bad pre flop call?
on preflop, should you fold with AQs if it was raise and reraise before it got to you?

Re: AQs, Bad pre flop call?
PF call is a little loose, but sometimes make it depending on my reads of those two guys. Is one a nutball? Are they both tighties?
[ QUOTE ] Not sure what I think about the flop bet... [/ QUOTE ] I'm not thrilled with it. Your Q outs are poop. Your A outs are suspect, too. So, if you've got 9 cards to your flush then true, you've got a 35% pot equity. If everyone calls and *if* none of your clubs are gone, you're making money. But, making MP1 face two back to him with your raise makes it less likely he'll call. The turn bet sucks IMO. You're not getting this field to fold, and your pot equity takes a big hit when you don't make your flush. http://twodimes.net/h/?z=720256 pokenum -h ac qc - ad kc - qs qh -- 8h 7c 4c 2s Holdem Hi: 42 enumerated boards containing 2s 7c 4c 8h cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV Ac Qc 8 19.05 34 80.95 0 0.00 0.190 Kc Ad 5 11.90 37 88.10 0 0.00 0.119 Qs Qh 29 69.05 13 30.95 0 0.00 0.690 So, you're no longer making money on every call they make. You should just see the river as cheaply as possible. Regards, -Brian |

Re: AQs, Bad pre flop call?
I would've capped it pf. Would've check called on the turn. With an already big pot, I would've gone ahead and bet out on the river.
If it was unsuited, I would've folded pf. |

I would've capped it pf. [/ QUOTE ] IMO you're spewing chips with this move. You're dominated too often to make this profitable with your high cards alone, and with only 2 customers, you won't make enough when you hit your flushes. If you have reads on one or both opponents to say they're very loose raisers / maniacs then my statement would change. Regards, -Brian |

Re: AQs, Bad pre flop call?
True. It's hard to say with no reads. But then again, this is Party Poker .50/1, and I will play AQs very aggressively until I am shown otherwise that I'm against a TAG or Rock.
