Cache Creek a rock garden?
I went over to Cache Creek Indian Casino on MLK day. I was very surprised at how tight MOST of the players were in the NL game. People who have been to Lucky Chances KNOW that money flies all over the place in their NL game (especially the 100max buyin).
At Cache Creek the buyin is $100, but it is NO MORE, NO LESS. The gamblers can't sit down w/ 20-40 and push w/ AJ which I like. Also, there is no $12/hr sitting fee there is at Lucky Chances. Has anyone been there? How did you like it? |

Re: Cache Creek a rock garden?
Ehhh
Ive been meaning to get around to this place while I was somewhat close to the area, but it just has not happened. Care to provide any other detail about the room ? How long did you play what time of day etc.... 100 NL max sounds kind of nice. What is the fee for playing this ? |

Re: Cache Creek a rock garden?
The room is not very big for poker as this isn't a big money-maker for a casino. I guess they have em to please their patron, I don't know. Anyway there was only ONE NL table which really pissed me off. I intended to get there around 11am, but got there around 2:30pm. I had to play limit because I was going crazy just watching and I finally sat down at the NL game around 5pm and I played until 12:30am. As to the fee, button:$1, SB:$1, BB:$2 and the house takes that $4 as soon as a there is a called pot. It costs at least $4 to open. I love it, but the players were not as crazy as I am used to seeing.
