Re: Small Pair, Ragged board, River decision
I would put BB on overcards or maybe played pre-flop with A3s or A2s and paired up. If you're going to call a bet on the river, you might as well bet it up front for the possibility of BB folding.

Re: Small Pair, Ragged board, River decision
Given BB called the flop/turn I'd say it's fairly likely he has Ax, or he flopped/turned a pair and is hoping it holds up. I'd check/call. He called the turn bet so I don't see him folding the river to a single bet, but he'd probably check it if given the option.

Re: Small Pair, Ragged board, River decision
After calling the whole way I highly doubt he's folding a better hand here. The only worse hand he'll call with is a pair of 3s. And it is very possible that he'll check behind with a better hand.
He might however bet the river with Ace or overcards thinking the possible straight scared you when you checked showing weakness. We also don't know if the villain is capable of bluffing or not so folding to a raise is not as clear cut and would kind of suck. |
