Mistake on the river???
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 raises, CO folds, Hero 3-bets, SB folds, BB folds, MP2 caps, Hero calls. Flop: (9.50 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) MP2 bets, Hero raises, MP2 3-bets, Hero calls. Turn: (7.75 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) MP2 bets, Hero calls. River: (9.75 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) MP2 bets, Hero raises, MP2 3-bets, Hero caps, MP2 calls. Final Pot: 17.75 BB I played this hand really loose on the flop. And the turn was close call, but multitabling, I didn't really pay much attention to this hand till I got to the river. MP2 is a little looser than a 2+2er, but he didn't seem terrible post flop. Given the preflop capping and the reraise on the flop, I decided that it was extremely unlikely that he had two hearts in his pocket. What do you guys think? |

Re: Mistake on the river???
How bout mistake on the flop, toss it to the flop bet and move on.
River: call the 3 bet, don't cap. Most likely your looking at a split pot |

Re: Mistake on the river???
I figured the mistake on the flop was a given. That flop play by me was awful. Lost my focus and discipline for a bit is the only excuse I have. But then when reraised on the river, and I thought about the hands he could be holding, almost all of them had me a winner. A few of them had me splitting the pot.
Unless he had made an error as big as the one I made on the flop, I figured I had to have him beat. |
