My stats on pocket pairs
After 10,000 hands (on Party) since I started using poker tracking software I average pocket aces every 169 hands, by far my most common pocket pair. Next closest is kings at once every 198 hands, sixes, queens and jacks are all right around every 200-202 hands. I know this is a small sample but it is funny to hear people talking about rigged games online and to come up with these stats. I'm not complaining because I'm way ahead with all my top pocket pair hands (but now 'they' know that I know so I'll probably get aces a lot less now.) I'm curious to know other peoples stats and whether they get aces more than their share.

Re: My stats on pocket pairs
Over the last 10,000 hands, I'm short about 1/3 of my fair share of aces. Now at least I know where they went.

Re: My stats on pocket pairs
My last 1400 hands I got pocket aces 16 times and I was only up .4/100 for those 1400 hands.

Re: My stats on pocket pairs
So if my math is right - you have gotten pocket Aces about 59 times
10,000/ 169 = 59 You have gotten pocket 6s 49 times 10,000/202 = 49 I would guess that this is well within an acceptable variance for 10,000 hands. Do this for 100,000 and you might, just might have something to prove. |
