But he is also not playing optimally. There are certainly many +EV situations he is passing up.

I don't disagree.

However, it is very easy to play against a rock, who only plays a few hands and plays them weakly unless he has the nuts.

It is not easy to play against a player who only plays a few hands, yet plays them very aggressively.

Table mods like that can be gotten by checking out my site:

http://www.dantonio.info/layout/

Also a few other sites like that, I'll have to link them on my layout site.

I don't consider 11/6/3 to be a rock. 11/3/1 is a rock. 11/6/3 is tight/aggressive.

[/ QUOTE ]

11/6/3 stinks. He needs to play more hands, and raise more as well. Add the fact that he's not topping off his stack, which is $81 at a $3/6 table, and you've got one bad poker player.

There are reasons for not sitting at this table, but 11/6/3 isn't one of them.

How about the 20 VP$IP table average? That was about typical for most tables I saw tonight.

Didn't we address this already.

I think this is a VERY beatable table.

Table avg of VP-20 does NOT mean that they are all Ed miller disciples.

SSH is a great book, but it doesn't have much applicability to this type of a game. The pots are usually either no flop, or heads up.

Would you say HPAP and TOP have more use than SSH at these 3.5 to the flop games?

The Party games do seem a bit tighter recently, that will all change of course when they air the new WPT, WSOP, EPT etc.
