[ QUOTE ] Well [censored] then. [censored] Swingers - it sucks ass. I'm standing by The Party Animal, though. [/ QUOTE ] I've never seen the movie. She just likes that annoying guy. She made me watch the other movie he's in "Made". She thinks it's funny, I don't. Never seen party animal. Is it a 1984 movie? No picture of it on imbd. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah - it's very 80's. The IMDB description/review makes it sound uber-gay, but it's really nowhere near as retarded as the idiot on IMDB makes it sound. Well, to be fair, it's not a "good" movie, but it's not bad in the way the guy on IMDB makes it sound like it would be. It's not a popular movie by any means, though. I've never seen it in any store or rental place - I've only seen it in a college friend's movie collection. There are a few copies on E-bay, though. Note that the one with the picture of the box just copied the same gayrod description that IMDB has. |

Re: top 10 movies for men
[ QUOTE ]
Ok, for everyone who is saying Fight Club, it can't be on the list if one of the metrics of a good guys movie is that chicks don't watch it. For that matter, any movie with Brad Pitt can't be on the list, period. Secondly, Fight Club is really just about a group of repressed gay men (or at the very least contains *tons* of overtones to that effect) but I'm sure you guys all know this already anyway. Thus, it doesn't make a very good 'manly man' movie, unless such a manly man is a repressed homsexual (which is probably not too uncommon for overly manly men). Clint Eastwood's movies seem like solid picks as the characters he plays are the quintessential 'manly men' according to American ideals. Or any movie starring Jenna Jameson, [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]. Yugoslav [/ QUOTE ] I felt no homosexual tones in the movie. secondly, how can you go wrong with a bunch of guys kicking the crap outta each other just because? |

I felt no homosexual tones in [Fight Club]. [/ QUOTE ] The author of the book, Chuck Palahniuk, is gay and homosexual themes run through most of his works. I think it's there in the movie, but more subtle. |

"Lesbian Vibrator Bitches" is a good guy flick. Also I agree with whoever said Full Metal Jacket and Apocalypse Now. Chicks hate war movies. And movies don't get much more War than those ones.

I finally bought the Apocalypse Now Redux and got FMJ on a 2-fer at Best Buy. My wife has absolutely no interest in watching either of them. In fact, you might say she has anti-interest. They showed Apocalypse Now in my high school social studies class. That was awesome - surprising, but awesome. |
