Misplayed the flop?
$50 buy in
40 person tournament Starting stack is 450 36 people left. Hero is chip leader with (T1180) SB is second in chips with (T730) UTG has (T305) UTG is LP SB is LAG Blinds: 15/25 Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Preflop: UTG calls, folded to button who calls, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) Pot: (T100) Hero checks, UTG is all in (T280), button folds, SB raises all in (T705), Hero ... ? Ok, so here was my dilema: I felt like I was the best player at the table. I didn't think anyone had JJ because they would have raised preflop, but J7 was a possibility. I'm risking 70% of my stack to call SB's all in (if it was just UTG, I would insta-call). Should Hero call? Should Hero have bet the flop instead of checking? |

Re: Misplayed the flop?
I would've bet the flop, but I can't lay this down, I'm calling unless you have a great read on the SB somehow.

Re: Misplayed the flop?
Easy All in, no questions.
Possible hands are Jx PP and 7x but your kicker rocks, all in |

Re: Misplayed the flop?
What kind of flop bet would you have made?
Do I want to induce everyone into calling/pushing all in (and having not bet the flop, I got lucky that they did that anyways)? |

Re: Misplayed the flop?
You floped trips in the BB, check and trap, no bet, noone expects you to have a 7
