Is this just reckless? Come on, they're sooted! River: (7.75 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, MP1 checks, MP3 bets, Hero raises, MP1 folds, MP3 calls. Wow, this is unexpected, I better check-raise! Final Pot: 11.75 BB Was this just a terribly played hand? I'm not crazy about my turn call, and I also could have check-raised the flop I suppose. Re: 4-2 sooted
I think I would lead this flop, I have a pair and a two card flush draw so a raise doesn't scare me but a check through does. I check/call the turn and check/raise the river.
Vern Standard Disclaimer, I am by no means an expert at any of this. |

Re: 4-2 sooted
I would bet the flop, with a pair and a flush draw you have a nice equity edge. Aslong as a couple of people call (nearly always) your bet is for value.
Why are you questioning your turn call? You have 9 outs to the flush and I would give your two pair or better 3 outs. That's 12 outs needing about 3-1 to call, you're getting 5.75-1 including implied odds and people to call behind you on this street. It is rarely correct to fold a flush draw when you don't fear a fullhouse. River check/raise is good for maximising wins. |

Bet the flop.
Check/call the turn. Nice river, he didn't see that coming. |

Re: 4-2 sooted
Agree with above. Need to bet the flop.
Everything else is goot. |

Re: 4-2 sooted
Bet the flop for value. Folding the turn would be absurd.
