Re: TT didnt like it at all 10/20
Lose to jacks? Tough spot on the river, I like check fold against some opponents, check call against others.

Call preflop, check and see what goes down postflop.

Re: TT didnt like it at all 10/20
Callin two cold PF is never a great solution, 3 bet for sure IMO. I play it just like you did, and check-fold or check-call depending on what i feel like or if I have any stats or reads on river. Folding on turn to resistance.

3-betting the flop is a must. Your line looks good against tylpical players,.

Re: TT didnt like it at all 10/20
He isnt calling 2 cold PF, hes the BB so he puts in 1 more BB.
I dont think 3 betting this PF is a must. With 3 other people in the hand I dont think a call is bad because if the flop comes down bad (like it did) you have excellent relative position to the PFR (you get to act last) so you can check and see how the action goes. And if the flop comes down good, you are set up for the perfect checkraise, or to bet and let the PFR raise to thin the field. |

Re: TT didnt like it at all 10/20
3-bet PF is mandatory.
Though I think it is almost mandatory to bet when in lead even w/ ugly flops, not in a 4-way pot w/ 2 overcards. They'll understand if you check to see what happens. You'll rarely be able to pick up this pot for a SB and can't call when it comes back raised. It's a good time to let those who Cold Call 2 w/ K5 or whatever to win a pot so they will be reloaded for those times you catch an alright flop. PT |
