I think there is a lot of word of mouth going on at Universities an colleges. A few players starting making money, getting other buddies interested and guiding them to this site for information. A ton smart and well educated people are getting into Poker. It is not hard to find 2+2 once these smart people start searching the web.
I see a lot xxxxx@.edu e-mails going around.

I found this nice little site via RGP as well..... Funny this is at the time this site was just as bad, as people didnt have to register to post. Since that changed a while back, and we got a mod....... well, things are looking up
I remember back in the day when I use to look forward to Monday mornings when I could look forward to 60 new posts (not the zoo, the entire site) because I hadnt read any over the weekend. Now I go take a dump come back and there are 190 new posts. The only drawback now is that I cant keep up with all the posts and all the forums. I very rarely get to look at anything besides the Zoo and B&M

I'm new in the last couple months. I got it from Phil Gordon's book. I joke now that having this website in his book was the one and only good part about the thing.

this is a serious question. there *has* to be some common place that many of you are coming from. i have never seen a twoplustwo ad. i know there are a lot of links out there, but it just does not explain it.

I think you told me about this place.
If my memory is correct.

I have been reading the 2+2 books for about a year now.

I took a trip to AC last summer and lost a bit of money (1bb/hour), so I know I needed to improve my game. I have been playing a lot of Turbo Holdem and read many more books, and there are some things that either aren't covered (how do you play against people who trap with big pairs?) or that I still wasn't sure about (how do you play middle pair in different situations?).

This site is a good place to get feedback on such questions, so that is why I started posting.
