This gimick is nothing new.....
Several months back the DNC came out with their talking points and within a 90 day window every Democratic hack use the phrase "miserable failure" to describe George Bush everytime a camera was pushed into their faces. Being "news" their comments were reported frequently on the internet....
Several of the conservative talk shows put together audio montages with the Democratic leaders using the phrase "miserable failure" to describe George Bush. The point of their audio montage was to show how calculating and scripted the Democrat leadership was with their tactics.... It was like hearing a bunch of robots parroting the same words. Over-and-over again..... It did not paint a very flattering picture of the Democrat leadership....
Based on the results on the 2004 Nov elections, you can see how effective these silly tactics were.
The Democrats are going to need more than gimics to get the White House in 4 years... I hope some day the Democratic party can get their act together to act like a responsible counter-weight to some of the Republican ideas that I disagree with. But based on the behavior of the Democratic leadership in the last several years, it probably won't happen in my lifetime....
