seen this a few times think i played it right but not sure
several times i have been delt a mid pair 66,77,55. with a few limpers. flop hits 2 over cards (one being an ace or king) but there is only a small 1*bb raise.
I fold but then see the set card on turn. Should I call the small bet when I only have 2 outs? |

Re: seen this a few times think i played it right but not sure
You are 22-1 to hit your set on the next card. If you have deep enough stacks, and you think you will get paid off heavily (22 times your investment) then yes, you should call. However, chances are you won't be getting the implied odds, and you shouldn't let the results affect your decision. If you fold 27 on a board of akq, and catch running 77 you shouldn't think you should have called.

Re: seen this a few times think i played it right but not sure
You said that there were small limpers in this pot and a small raise from the blinds. Could you please give more information such as pot size, stack sizes, etc. If you were getting the right odds, you could have called this flop.

Lick my balls sosman. Is that good enough english for you?
The pot size is around 5*BB and the small raise from the bb (after the flop) is 1 or 2 * the BB. |

I say call, especially if the raise is that small. You are at least getting 3:1 then with your money on the call...if you miss the turn you could get away from your hand.
