UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, CO (poster) calls, Button folds, SB folds, BB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (9 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, CO folds, BB folds, UTG+1 calls.

Right when the ace hit on the flop, someone said, So XXXXXX are you gonna go to the river with that 8-3offsuit again? Which gave me a hint about this player. Thanks in advance.

Usually in this spot, you will benefit more from checking the turn then you will from betting. You don't know if your hand is good, but you have ways out if you are behind. If you didn't have the K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], then the correct play would be to bet and fold to a check/raise. The exception I guess is if you are up against a play who will never check/raise (and pull stop and go's with good hands) you in which case betting is okay.
