A very pampered 'kid' who's getting into Sandhurst due solely to his family name. I'm sure the veterans will be impressed. I suppose with a mother like Diana he was always going to turn out bad.

Re: Prince Harry wore Nazi uniform to party
as an american, i am baffled by the UK's obsession with that inbred bunch of robber barons (or robber kings, i geuss). royal privalige is a stupid, atavistic, and harmful institution, and you brits should stop paying for all the tabloids and intrusive paparatzzi that perpetuates this particular cult of celebrity.
but the prince didn't ask to be born into that world, and he is just a dumb kid. i'm glad all of my... uh... "youthful indescretions" weren't scrutinized by an entire nation. and why go after somebody's tragicly dead mother? c'mon, that's just dirty. |

"What was he thinking? Just how stupid is he?"
Need more proof that inbreeding is a bad thing? |

Re: Prince Harry wore Nazi uniform to party
What is the big deal? It was a costume nothing more...He isn't a Nazi, so what is the issue here? It is just a costume, don't be so superficial to let an article of clothing offend you.

Sorry....Not that big of a deal....
There is a Woody Allen movie where Woodie is interviewing a big shot TV producer (Alan Alda) about comedy. Alan Alda's character makes the statement that "comedy is tragedy + time"...
For example; after the assassination on President Abe Lincoln (tragedy) at the Ford Theater, the country went into mourning and any jokes made about the assassination would obviously be in bad taste.... But after 100 years, the pain of the lincoln assassination faded to the point where jokes could be made (time). One famous Lincoln joke occurs where Mrs. Lincoln is supposedly asked, "well Mrs. Lincoln, other than that, did you enjoy the play?".... The ability to find humor in tragedy is healthy adaptive strength of human nature which keeps us looking towards the future. Not in the past..... The Nazi era occured 50 years ago.... Older generations still remember the pain and suffering from their parents and any Nazi "jokes" would be less than funny to this group. But the younger generations that do not necessarily have living relatives from the WW2 era, and therefore they view the Nazi era with less angst..... Prince Harry's mistake is not enough time has elapse where jokes could be made about this subject. With those of Jewish backgrounds it might take a 1000 years before jokes could be made about this subject but eventually even Jews will make jokes. Why? Because: Tragedy + Time does equal Comedy |
