Easiest KK lay down ever?
Does anyone not lay down KK here?
Hero is on the button, and the big stack with about 3200. Blinds are 50/100. 2 limpers, hero raises to 400. BB calls, both limpers call. Flop comes A J 7 - 2 spades. Hero has no spade. BB goes all in for about 1,100. first limper calls for about 950. 2nd limper calls leaving himself with 135. Does anyone not fold Kings with an A on the board and 3 all ins? |

You have to be behind at least one of them.

Re: Easiest KK lay down ever?
Pretty obvious what's going on here: BB is doing a stop-n-go or bluffing since it's unlikely that anyone left to act has an ace. The first limper has a flush draw (obv) and the second limper is keeping him honest with second pair and is very likely to fold for his last 135 when you go allin, representing a set. Plus if limper 2 calls your allin, you're lookin pretty fine for a nice sidepot.
I don't think it's ever correct to lay down KK here unless you are by far the greatest player in the world (like better than Barry Greenstein and Phil Ivey combined). No-brainer call, sorry. Shane |

Shane [/ QUOTE ] the problem is, only phil greenstein could have made that read exactly like you did. kinda like the guy on tilt last night, x-raying through that guys cards to just know that he had the 66. so if you're that good, it's an easy call. and if you aren't that good, you have to call also? wuh?
