Default nba play 1/13

Sacramento -8 1/2 (Utah):

Chris Webber is out tonight. But I still like Sacramento. The fill in, Darius Songaila, is far from a stiff. Sacramento generally puts up a lot of points (I throw out the recent games against SA (best defense in the league) and @ TOR (second of back-to-back after good win in NY)). At home, SAC has beaten teams of Utah's caliber and a little better by double digits pretty consistently. Meanwhile, Utah is coming off a big win last night against PHX where they put up 115 running up and down the court, along with another big win against SA. They've got to be exhausted. This is a tough back-to-back. In addition, their point guard situation is all fouled up. Now Arroyo doesn't play; it's Keith McLeod. I don't think the Bibby-McLeod matchup is a good one for Utah. I think they will resort back to their point-deficient ways and their defense will be suspect. My guess is SAC puts up 105 tonight and Utah is in the low 90s.

I like the pick....I also like the under 200 in this game, and the under 182 in the NJ/HOU game tonight.

Also like NCState +4.5 and Marquette +3 tonight.

Good luck!

Huh. Apparently Webber is playing tonight. So much for that news report that "Webber has been ruled out" of tonight's game. Watch SAC lose outright.

Apparently Mike Bibby is not playing tonight. Would have liked to have known that. Didn't see that anywhere. Does this casino offer surrender?

I jumped on the NJ/HOU under. Headin to OT now at 162 total. Let's hope it's a low scoring 5 minutes!
Also took the under and Sac in the other game.

I wouldn't sweat it the way these teams are playing tonight.

On a side note, Yao Ming gets my vote for most overrated player in the NBA.

Geez, if I'd have known Kobe was gonna go get hurt, I'd have probably bet the game

NJ/HOU under hit, NCState played horrible in the 2nd half after going into the locker room on top - Marquette had about 30 chances to close it to less than 6 with at least 5 to go but didnt, even after being down about 20 at one point.

Kobe's injury did not look good at all. He might be out for a while.
