My recollection of Playmakers is that the off-the-field situations mirrored a lot of what goes on or that has been publicized (drugs, older players and head coaches being pushed out, adultery, guys knocking up groupies, etc.). Now, is it realistic to depict every single bad situation that we have heard about in sports as happening in a 16 week season? Of course not, but I don't want to see boring team meetings.

As for on-the-field, stuff.....only sup bro truly knows.

Sup bro?

As for "Tilt," I for one will be peeing my pants in the kiddie pool (watch out kids).

<------Thank you. Now I can be the first one to use this line as my new ultra witty mock "Tilt" location.

I heard that TILT is actually filmed in Toronto Canada, which wouldn't surprise me since ESPN are known for being cheap when it comes to filming their own movies and series. In their movie the junction boys which is a true story based in Texas, they went all the way to Australia to film it!

TILT not being in Vegas just kills it for me. How can I watch something which is supposed to be about Vegas and Poker, knowing that its being filmed in a big Toronto set?

and btw it seems that everyone in that cast is Jewish even the directors.

A lot of TV is like that. Seinfeld and NYPD Blue are/were both filmed in LA, as are many other shows set in NY or other cites.

He just told you the producers were cheap, and you need him to elaborate? I doubt you really want to hear any more of his opinions.

ok....getting away from the anti-semitism which I'm not really into...and back to the original topic:

I've decided I'll watch the first few minutes of it (instead of my other option of switching between a couple of different basketball games).

I'm not sure I'll make it to the end of the first episode because if I REALLY can't stand it then I might grow impatient and just ditch it.

Remember, they're going to re-run this thing more times then any of us can stand.

Watching the Duke-NCSt hoops game.
Could they have had any more Tilt promos in there? Jeez, they were freaking non-stop....I think Mike Patrick said the word "Tilt" more than he said "Duke".

Anyway....game's over.
here comes the first show. Can't wait to see how bad it is!!! I'm so excited.

Great scheduling by those guys to put this premier after a college b-ball game that was sure to go over a few minutes.

I wonder if they will start the show ten minutes in or if they will start from the beginning and push back whatever crap comes on after it.

Anyway, here we go.
