Re: 3/6 - The three hand chronicle of my play against a player.
I pop the flop sometimes in hand 1, but not the majority 'cause I generally presume a cap out of position from an unknown is a real hand.
Hand 2. Yay. I could see a turn raise as well, but think a call is better after the flop coldcall behind you. Hand 3: That turn fold is unbearably bad. You have an Jacks up (an overpair), a maniac pumping and two guys just calling and the odds to draw to the J (you have J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]) the few odd times you are beat. |

Re: 3/6 - The three hand chronicle of my play against a player.
Avatar,
Hands 1 and 2...OK. Hand 3 I think is terrible. I think this is a definite cap both pf and on the flop and the turn fold is about the worst I've ever seen. Why do you think you're behind? Edit...not only do I think you're ahead on the turn in hand 3 but even if you're behind you have odds to draw to you're two outs. |

Re: 3/6 - The three hand chronicle of my play against a player.
Hand 3. Cap the flop unless you thought the cap would slow the maniac down, in which case calling is fine since getting in a turn raise is so so important here.
I'd sooner strangle a kitten than fold on the turn here. ZZZ |
