Default Another KK Question

In the BB with KK. I raise PF and get re-raised by a good player. I cap and we are HU.

The flop comes 3 diamonds, with no A or str8 draw. I bet and the LAG raises.

How would you respond?

can you clarify the PF action. is he limp-reraising you.. is it a 5-bet cap or something?

why does a "good player" read suddenly turn into a LAG read?

I think this is a good time for a "Tilt" style body tackle from across the table. Sometimes you just have to get out of the kiddie pool and make some moves like that.

Spider - yes - he limped, I raised and he re-raised.

I asked myself the same question when he continued to bet. This was a guy who played pretty solid up to that point. My first thought was that he was limping with AA to set a trap. But that doesn't make sense based on how he had been previously playing.

My usual style would be to go for the throat and see what he REALLY had. Unfortunately, I got a flash that he had two big broadway diamonds (he didn't slowplay a hand while I was at the table) and I wimped out and folded. The second I hit Fold I started cursing myself for not getting back in his face.

The posts here reinforced that I needed to eat my Wheaties on this one.
