Just did, There is a thread in the Beginner's forum. No rave reviews. More like, eh, it's okay.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's because that's right about all there is to say.

Except for HU poker simulation software is at about the level computer chess was at in 1965 or so. They play like a good microlimit regular at their best.

wow, the prices are diffeent on their website. Poki is like $39.95 the Pro is like $119.95 if I remember correctly.

[/ QUOTE ]

IMPORTANT: Poki's Poker Academy and Poker Academy Pro are the same thing, as I said above. What I should have also said is Poker Academy is something completely different.

I told you it was confusing! Sorry for the confusion.

The list prices are 99.50 and 129 for the two products that are the same. It is frankly silly of them to have the same two products at two different prices.

The one that is like $40 or whatever is a stripped down version.
Regards

I played at a table in a tourney last Friday as somebody who works there (in Minneapolis, don't know where they're located though). I hadn't heard of them and asked about it. Of course it was biased, but he said it was much better than Wilson and that there are two different versions. He made it sound like it was really good for running sims and looking at possibilities.

Err, that's not really much help, sorry.

In case it matters, he busted out halfway through level 1

One problem: I cannot get the authorization code to work on the second computer. It specifically says that it can be loaded & used on two computers that I own.

Have you contacted the technical support staff about this problem? I'm sure we can resolve it in just a few minutes.

Cheers,
Aaron
