Queasy feeling with flopped set
I almost got away from this once it was two back to me capped on the river ... I had a gut feeling from the turn action I was beat, but the "don't fold in a big pot with a big hand" mantra was pulsating in my brain. Did I take this too far? Or is this just one of them hands you have to suck it up and put the bets out there?

Re: Queasy feeling with flopped set
I think you can fold this twice on the river.

Re: Queasy feeling with flopped set
I knew that. Really.
I also knew if I folded the winner I'd absolutely hate myself. Like I said, just a hand that breeds misery. |

I know you're right. I just needed to hear it from people on here I think.

Re: Queasy feeling with flopped set
Winner had the flopped nut straight. He was a 50 VP$IP guy, slightly passive (which should have been the clue I needed to get away). Other guy (don't know what he had, didn't check) was an even bigger fish.
Edit: Other guy had the set of 5s. Hey, third place ain't bad ... |
