I think it was an easy call. In that situation, I HIGHLY doubt you are against AA or KK. So you are a coin toss against any other hand and have a good majority of hands dominated. I don't see how you could lay this down in this situation.
Hindsight is 20/20. BTW - How do you figure you are 3-1 to outlast the BB for 2nd? Steve |

The reason I think that I was a favorite over the shortstack was because the Chipleader was respecting my raises even though he had a big lead, and the shortstack was calling away chips. Just an estimate on my part, but I think I could have outlasted the shortstack 3 out of 4 times.

Play to win, i'd take the coinflip with the extra chips from the blinds in the pot.
Unless you think chip leader is a total wimp and will play 10handed cards in heads up... you will need the double to take it all. Ax is very likely as well as a pocket. If not now, when?! |
