No reads? I feel like raising this flop and getting 3-bet, then folding the turn unimproved. Only hand you're pretty much ahead of here is TT. Sometimes i'll fold the flop for one SB if I know he's somewhat tight, is this bad?

Against an unknown 3-betting hands are generally, AA-TT and AK maybe AQ.
Against AA-QQ and AK you're a pretty big underdog. Against an unlikely JJ you tie. And you're still ahead of TT and the possible AQ but the AQ has 6 outs against you. This is a pretty bad position to be calling down 2.5 big bets to win what is a 4 big bet pot back to you on the flop. |

I might've taken your line if I thought the SB though you were attempting to steal the blinds with a mediocre hand. Without a read, that can be tough to tell, but it makes it a little more likely that SB is using a scary board to push you off the pot with nothing. I'm not sure it's worth calling down though, since the pot is so small and there are so many overcards. A reraise at some point, probably the flop, would've given you a better idea as to where you stood.

If you want a cheaper showdown raise the flop and check through on the turn, then call the river.

so whats the question?
if you want to find a fold, then you would want to find a raise. |

And when you get 3-bet 85% of the time here, what're you doing?
