Default Cap the flop?

Is capping the flop the correct play?

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

yes, he will probally check call the turn and river regardless if you cap or call the 3-bet so capping is correct. besides you want to make the other opponents pay extra if they are going to try and draw out on you.

Was it an aggressive table? I'd be a little concerned by MP2's flop 3-bet, since there isn't exactly a wide variety of things to be betting on that flop. When MP2 3-bets, I think he at least has (or can beat) top pair, and your hand is vulnerable, even if it is currently best. (You don't want someone else with a king to pair their kicker, or for another nine to fall, or for a running pair above your 5's to fall.)

Anyway, though, I think capping the flop is fine.

Yup, cap for value your hand is great. I can't think of any better ways of playing this.

This is fine. You are out of position with a good hand, and going for a slowplay is risky OOP. Nice hand.
