I'm a NL guru, so I'll take a shot.

I think you should put some money in on the turn. How much, you ask? No idea. Maybe somewhere around 1/3 of the pot?

If you check it through you're asking him to take the pot from you on the river.

(If you post this in the PL/NL forum you'll get someone to respond who actually knows something about the game, instead of a retard like me.)
