Default Poker, Data Mining, and Observing Tables...

Hiya -

What are your thoughts of having an observer, who may be using a stats program (Poker Tracker or otherwise) say at the table:

Observer: lol, judging by the stats, Venkman_ must love this table

Is this bad form for an observer to announce that a certain player may have a strategic advantage over the others? I could make the assumption that the observer was Data Mining the tables for information before playing. I think doing this is perfectly acceptable, but announcing how another player is running/doing I'm not so sure.

I'm on the fence as to whether it really matters or not in the long run, but I wouldn't say this to any player, 2 + 2 or otherwise, especially if I saw that the player had the advantage at the time (positive BB and statistically tight aggressive play).
