No Fold Em 2/4 at Commerce?
When I first started playing about 9-10 months ago, I played 2/4 at Commerce Casino in LA. Since then I've moved on to online SNGs ($10+1) and have done fairly well (probably around 20% ROI over about 160 - haven't checked in a while). Played a little $100 buy-in NL at Commerce with some big swings, breaking about even +/- <1 buyin.
I played some 2/4 in Vegas over New Years and the looseness of the games has prompted me to try B&M low limit again. Has anyone here played 2/4 or 3/6 recently at Commerce? Are the games still loose with people chasing to the river with TPNK? What strategy changes do you make in these games? Is it ok to limp from EP with low pairs (22-66) and suited connectors? Is SSH a good buy, or should I go with HOH and stick to tournys? I've found the variance lower at SNGs. For those of you that play primarily ring games, why do you vs. playing SNGs? I realize this is somewhat of a ramble, with a lot of broad/general questions. Mostly I'm looking for whether these low limit games are beatable or if I should stick to tournys. I enjoy B&M play much more than online, but not so much that I'd pay money for it. |
