Default AK hand

Should I raise this from SB, or just complete vs. a lot of limpers? The check-raise accomplished my goal of cleaning up outs and knocking out opponents, and I feel that it was correct. Does anyone check/call on the turn rather than betting out?

Default Re: AK hand

Raise PF because you probably have the best hand and want to punish those who limped with junk.

The flop C/R turned out fine because you got it heads up (and likely bought yourself a ton of outs, as you mentioned). But if you're going to fire one more off on the turn, I think the only way you win this pot is to bet the river and hope your opponent puts you on an overpair. Will you get your opponent to fold here once in 10 times? If the answer is yes, then fire one more off. If he's a fish calling station, you're probably best served by checking it down. Obviously, you'd fold to a raise.

If your flop C/R doesn't thin the field, I check/fold the turn unimproved unless a Q or T hits to give me a gutshot (and the accompanying odds necessary to see the river).
