10-20 Temptation

Hit the local card room Tuesday with 2+2er bdypdx. As he was writing our names on the 4-8 list, Jim the floor guy asked, "Why aren't you two moving up to 10-20? You're better than most of those guys up there."

I told him the spirit is willing but the bankroll is lacking.

Sigh. This time last year I fully expected to be playing 10-20 by now, but 2004 was a disaster for my bankroll: a combination of a vicious losing streak and growing pains trying to apply concepts learned here and from Ed Miller's book.

Anyway, it was a nice compliment.
