Default Re: $20/40 stud hand

Hey Andy,

Why not reraise after UK raised? You said you wanted to see what transpires and that's why you limped in. You got your info by the time it got back to you: a couple weak limpers, a couple folds, seems like a perfect time to shut out the field to get heads up with the Ace overlay and some dead money against a suspected pocket pair (99-KK?).

I know one of your Aces is dead and you said you did not want to play for a big pot but how well does a semi-dead hand play 4-way? 4-way it'll likely get expensive anyway when some raises are likely.

Raising on third street was certainly an option, and may have been the better play. That said:

1) One of my Aces was out.

2) I didn't think BCM would fold for a mere $35.

3) HPD just might fold for the $15.

4) I didn't want to play a big pot.

As it turns out, I probably would have gotten HDP off of his pocket Deuces, which turned out to be the winning hand. That's hindsight, though.
