JTRUE they did the same with me. I was po'd. I have deposited 1k two times today and it is starting to tick me off.
I fowarded them their own newsletter and I said take a read of this. I know it starts tomorrow technically but come on guys don't tell me it is for new signups only. Also, everyone else is getting it and their own client advertises it as good now!

I just don't understand the confusion. The reload bonus starts TOMORROW not today. Is it really a big surprise that you're not able to reload and get the bonus TODAY, when it starts TOMORROW. Basic whoring 101, meets the details of the bonus, do not deviate, do not pass go, do not collect $200 until TOMORROW.

Well, there is confusion for two reasons:
1. Their client popup says the bonus starts after December 5. We are after December 5. 2. They are giving it to pretty much everyone and I wanted to start on it. 3. Not really on point but I intend to drop 3k total in there to play the games so I don't really care if I do it in one or three tranches, it is just annoying since everyone else is getting it.

This is a bit off topic, but does anybody know HOW to get these newsletters regularly? I don't seem to get any newsletters from any of the Party sites (PartyPoker, EmpirePoker, etc.), even though I have a valid email address and regularly receive other emails from them (cashouts, etc.)

Actually, the popup says Jan. 5th. The square at the top right of the lobby says Dec. 5th. But really that's just being ticky. The email says 1/5 as does everything in this thread. Seems a little incredulous to bemoan what is clearly 1 typo out of 3 places.

However it also specifically says January 5. I'm not concerned if people are not getting it early, but I am concerned if Empire's saying it's only a signup bonus.

Moreso than that I think there is confusion going around as I saw this signup on intertopspoker here "Use Bonus Code "HAPPY2005" on the Payment Page to receive your FREE 20%." - this is their signup bonus offer. I'm sure the good people @ empire are just getting there wires mixed up. 5 hours to go...
