You need to raise the flop. This is for information, value, and because you don't want the blinds calling with overcards (turned out not to matter this particular time).

Good point, given that I didn't give you two important pieces of info.
1) Blinds were telegraphing a fold on the flop (actually SB folded out of turn)
2) UTG+1 was a completely unknown player.
I think the pivotal point is the turn...if a blank had come I might have popped it, but does the 7 turn it into a fold?

Folding is completely unacceptable. If you're sure the blinds are going to fold, raising the flop is not as crucial, but it's still a value raise.

I agree with everything Nightwish had to say above. My question is why the preflop call? I need at least two more limpers preflop to justify the call. Here I put that K8s straight in the muck without another thought.

against weak limpers who play poorly postflop ill gladly limp in K8s, i may even raise with it in certain circumstances. against solid players ill always fold this. i dont know how you folded your hand postflop, i think a raise was supposed to be put somewhere in there.

I didn't fold...I just called the whole way since I had no idea where I was at...I really didn't like the way the guy was betting on the turn...he put his money in like he was expecting it to come back...does this change anything?
