Default Runnr Runner

I just started playing on party poker and this was the first set I've flopped in about 15 pocket pairs let alone a boat, and of course someone caught runner runner to out boat me... now I hardly have a bankroll and it hurts to lose like this, will this happen often or does my luck suck that much. how could I have played this any differntly, especaily at these tables where I'm getting re-raised by someone with 6 9 off suit flopping 2 pair beating my kings heh

How could you have played this differently?

You could have raised pre-flop to isolate the limper.

You could have smoothcalled the flop and not forced people behind you to call two cold.

You could have folded the river.

This shouldn't have left your bankroll in ruin... and yes, you will get sucked out on often. Most of the time your hands win, there will be two callers the whole way who were one card away from completely annihilating your hand. Sometimes they will get that card, seemingly ten rivers in a row.

If they didn't play like that, it wouldn't be so profitable.
