When to call it quits?
I'm at Party 2/4, up $150 at one table $80 at another, when I get in this situation I seem to start to lose money, not sure if it's cause A-8 unsuited starts to look like a profitable hand or cause..I dunno why actually. Anybody else leave a good table when up by a lot? Seems like kind of reverse tilt. Any ways to use this table image more to your advantage? Thanks in advance.

Re: When to call it quits?
If you're serious about A8 looking like a profitable hand, then you may need to either leave the table or tighten your starting requirements. A quick reference spreadsheet for starting hands could do wonders here as soon as you notice this occurring.

Re: When to call it quits?
Used to happen to me, you make some money and begin to feel invincible, it's a flaw, just practice playing your normal game and you will get over it. Problem is you begin to play for the money and not the game.

Re: When to call it quits?
You'll get better responses to this in the psychology forum. They talk about these kinds of things a lot, and there should be some good advice there.
