Me neither, but then again I don't seem to get most of the jokes involving El Diablo.

I've been laying low for a few days, it seems this hand has been discussed before in another thread, but I missed it. I'm suspicious that Gavin is the CO here rather than the button. I can't imagine anyone being able to make the all-in call on the turn here. Even if you are ahead, the opponent has 12 outs to beat you. And I would think you are ahead way less than half the time given the betting.

So Gavin...go ahead...explain.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree Ross. Even if you are right and the villain has 2 unpaired cards, he has 12 outs. So even if you make an amazing read, the villain will outdraw you an awful lot. Tough call to make unless you're pretty familiar with the opponent.

Umm. Did you have a read on the CO that he would keep bluffing with nothing?

Sorry. Didn't read the rest of the thread first. I see this has been fairly well beaten to death.

I think that thinking you have the best hand is acceptable, but if so, I think you need to push on the flop. If you had a higher pair, I could see check calling it all he way down, but if you think 22 is the best hand, you need to protect it.
