One time I was playing online and had 2-4 in the BB. The flop came down 3-5-7 and I went all in thinking I had the straight. Two other players called me and then I realized my mistake. I was so upset at my decision I turned around and shot my cat and my dog. Well an ace came on the river and I got my straight! Thank god cats have nine lives. He lived to see another hand. Bad beat for Sparky though.

Live: I was playing NL Omaha Hi/Low at this local game, blinds 10/20 and i had A345 for the second best low and an 8 high straight on a board of 4 6 7 8 T and lost both ways and ended up losing over 8k on that hand with such great cards,

This isn't remotely close to a bad beat, in fact its sucker plays like this that make the good players in the game all their money.

BTW I call BS on the pants wetting.

[/ QUOTE ]

It was a great play, i had the second best low and a straight. Im basically guarenteed half of the pot on this one.

And it is not BS, if one of those players posts here, they can tell you.

They all took pictures on their camera phones as i ran out of the room crying.

I'm not a big Omaha high low guy, but this play seems nuts. You have the sucked end of the straight, there is almost no way that is good. And then you have the 2nd nut low in a huge pot. You lucky to get quartered there.

The following three hands happened in the same session.
Omaha hand - 1 outer on the river
NL50 hand - $425 pot, maniac outdraws me
Guess I didn't post the third hand (which was first, really)...but it involved me overplaying my aces after getting called by 86s and having them flop a flush to lose a $240 pot...at NL25. I had got aces 13 times that day (about 20 hours into a very long session) and hadn't had them cracked, but that's not really an excuse... Anyway, I tilted off several hundred dollars after that just at NL25, and then the NL50 hand happened, and then the Omaha hand happened for the last of my money on that site.

It was the first and only time I have ever cried myself to sleep. It must have steeled me for the road to come, since I blew $1200 clearing the deposit bonus on Party and slept soundly.

Lost $1400 one day then went to work, earning $200. What could be worse than that?

I've seen a lot of dealers sweating the football games. I've heard more than one say something to the effect of " Well I guess I'm working for free tonight".

I punched a hole through a door in a bar when Australia was beaten by England in the 2003 rugby world cup.

Or did you mean worst thing after a gambling loss ?
