Re: What is my line supposed to be?
Don't get fancy. If people on party like there hand, they will call, no matter how many bets it takes. 3bet pf. Since you didn't, you need to raise the flop (If he bets into you after your 3bet, you should still raise). I would cap here given a chance.

Re: What is my line supposed to be?
Pocket Aces win about 88% the time when you are playing heads up. They win about 34% of the time against 9 players. By not raising you are allowing worse hands than yours to see the flop cheaply. You want to charge them to see the flop. If they fold that just increases your percentage of winning. On the flop you have top pair with the nut flush draw, raise the flop! Even if villain has QQ or two spades, you still have 11 clean outs. He could easily have K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Qx which you have dominated here. When the Q hits the turn you need to just call here. If villain does have QQ your are drawing dead, if he has two spades or say KQ, they you again have 10 clean outs, +1 out (K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]) that may make the best hand. Call the turn & call the river.

Re: What is my line supposed to be?
3-bet preflop.
Raise the flop. If he just calls, check behind on the turn and call one unless you make the frush or hit an ace. Turn raise is pretty bad IMO. Brad |
