How do I play this flop?
Guys,
Would really appreciate some advice on this one. Is it an easy check-fold? Thanks for the quick reply guys.
Bet is what I did, and then the following happened. Any comments on the turn/river? Re: How do I play this flop?
Yikes. Either bet/fold the river or check/call. I think I'm leaning more toward a check/call.

I REALLY don't like how he called that turn bet. He's got an A. I may even check/fold the river.

Re: How do I play this flop?
I agree with Brad - check/call. Very scary board and you're most likely beat, but it's a pretty big pot, so calling 1 bet is ok.

Re: How do I play this flop?
Your'e thinking is weak-tight. There are many hands that will call in this spot, especially at this level. Any PP, any FD, and many broadway cards will call. The broadways won't be right to call, but they will anyway. Don't fear the monsters under the bed!

Re: How do I play this flop?
Grunch - I agree that in many instances, aggression is the right play here on the river. However, you've got a VERY scary board (2 2 pairs and an flush draw) and a guy who's been hanging around the whole time and decides to raise on 5th street. If the board was less scary, I'd say perhaps there's a better play, but with this board, it doesn't make sense to me to fire away, knowing you are beat many different ways.

[ QUOTE ]
I may even check/fold the river. [/ QUOTE ] getting 7-1 i would check/call this. You win this in my opinion 12% of the time. Lots of players try a bluff with their weak hands here. That he called you on flop and turn doesnt mean he has a flush draw. Many weak players do this with PP or brodways. |
