Started playing poker about 8 months ago but really only began to take it seriously about 4 months ago. I have since then read Ken Warren's book and feel like I've truely studied SSH. Alot of the poker I play is with friends in no limit tournament and cash games(would also like to advance to play in the casinos)
While I fair pretty well, I still play and bet mostly on instinct.( a scary thought to me when I think of how most of the 'instinct' players usually fair at the A.C. tables.) It would be nice to have a guideline as far as suggested bets and action to rely on. Where would be a good place to start in term of a "more formal education"? |

I'm only halfway through it, but Harrington On Hold'em is the book to be reading now. Also the No-Limit and Pot-Limit book by Ciaffone and Reuben is good.
