What type of games did you used to play before poker?

Here were some of my favorites: Starcraft, Diablo2, Dark Age of Camelot, and Warcraft III. As you can see I am a fan of blizzard entertainment I also played Magic the Gathering on and off when I was younger, so many of the people I knew from that play poker now.

just for the record Starcraft was the best game ever created ^^;;

I used to and still play DOTA(Defense of the Ancients) - a mod for warcraft III. I used to play CS, quake3, and a bunch of fps games and any fighting game. I love fighting games.

no spin-the-bottle or seven-seconds-in-heaven option. Which, when i played it, i always lobbyed to change to seven minutes in heaven. Even 30 seconds isnt enough time to do anything horribly adult-oriented. Give me seven minutes though, and i could alter someones whole outlook on right and wrong.

Golf and I still do. This has always suprised me about this forum that no one metions golf as an influence on their poker. Think about it both are games you can play for money and most people think their better than they actually are.

Magic, DII, Chess. Im still pretty young compared to most of u (17) I used to play chess when i was about 9-12 DII 15-16 and magic 13-17. I still play Magic from time to time.

A lot of magicers I know play poker too.
